Dr. Kyle Mason was raised in Dodge City, KS where he spent much of his childhood playing sports, hunting, and fishing at his grandparents' farm, and shadowing his late uncle, Dr. Kelly Cohoon, DDS. Due to his love of college basketball, he attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Genetics. Soon after, Dr. Mason followed in his uncle's footsteps and attended the prestigious Creighton Dental School in Omaha, NE where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2011. After graduation, he and his wife, Heather, moved from Omaha to Mason City, IA to begin his dental career with Aspen Dental. He was treating up to forty patients a day and knew that wasn't what his heart desired. He wanted to be able to spend more time with each patient, getting to know them, while also taking care of their dental needs. After the birth of his first daughter, Penelope, Dr. Mason and his wife sought to be closer to family. While visiting his mom and stepdad, Kim and Kevin Rasure, in Goodland, KS, he had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Terry Imel. It was through Dr. Imel that he was connected with the Stratton Clinic. In 2013, Dr. Mason moved his family to Eastern Colorado, and in 2014, his second daughter Violet was welcomed into this world as the only Colorado Native in the family. In 2023, Dr. Mason made the decision to move his practice closer to his family in Burlington, with the dream of purchasing a building and the desire to build a practice this community deserves. It is here that he has grown to love this area and the hard-working people who fill it. Dr. Mason's philosophy is simple: Be honest, be gentle, be efficient, be kind, and be the best. He is grateful for the patients who have allowed him the pleasure of conversations, laughs, and the trusting relationship needed between dentist and patient. Dr Mason strives to provide the best dental care possible and treats each patient as his family.
